Holmewood House prep school in Tunbridge Wells is very much a family school where the positive relationships between the teachers and pupils allows us to get to know and understand the individual needs of each and every child.
We foster their talents and nurture their growth through a broad, balanced, challenging and exciting curriculum and, in doing so, create an environment whereby each child is provided with every opportunity to fulfil their potential. We believe that emotional and social well-being, self-esteem, happiness and confidence are of prime importance and are in themselves inextricably linked to academic progress.
We would be delighted to hear from you and invite you to contact us for any queries you may have. You can reach us on 01892 860000, via email at admissions@holmewoodhouse.co.uk or by filling out this contact form to request a call back.
❄️ Year 5`s Antarctic Adventure! 🐧
This week, Holmewood House welcomed David Edwards, who shared incredible tales from his journey to Antarctica – the coldest, windiest, and driest continent (did you know that it`s actually a desert?).
From curious baby penguins to close encounters with a leopard seal, the children were captivated by his stories and got hands-on with sub-zero survival gear. They asked some great questions too, like:
🐧 "How fast can a penguin sledge on its tummy?"
🏕️ "Where do you sleep in Antarctica?"
A huge thanks to David for an unforgettable visit.
