We love hearing what our former pupils have been up to and seeing where their journeys take them, and these two brothers continue to make waves, quite literally. Back in December, Aran competed at the English National Swimming Championships in Sheffield, where he became National Champion in the 100m Individual Medley - claiming gold in both the Junior and Senior categories. He also secured Junior Gold in the 200m IM. An incredible achievement. In January, both boys competed at the Kent County Championships at the London Aquatic Centre. • Rohan won Silver in the 200m Freestyle in his age group. • Aran claimed five gold medals across the 50Fr, 100Fr, 200Fr, 50Fly and 100Fly, and was awarded the Mick Geer Salver for top performance swimmer. Most recently, Aran and Rohan represented Brighton College at the Bath and Otter Cup, again at the LAC. The boys were victorious in the 4x100m Freestyle relay, taking gold and breaking the event record. They later added a silver in the Medley relay. Aran has also just won his 4th European junior time at the GB Swimming Championships! This autumn, Aran will head to Purdue University in the US on a swimming scholarship, continuing his sporting journey alongside his academics. We are so proud of both of you and can’t wait to follow the next chapters of your swimming journeys. 👏 Scholarship Success 👏 Congratulations to Divit on his Academic and Drama Scholarships to Radley College.
During his time at Holmewood, Divit has proven himself to be a motivated and well‑rounded pupil, consistently working hard to achieve high academic standards. He demonstrates intellectual curiosity and maturity, alongside strong performance across a broad range of subjects, with particular strengths in maths and the sciences.
In drama "he demonstrates real capacity for both directing and ensemble work. His portfolio shows dedication and passion for performing, and he stood out as Patrick in the end-of-term musical. I`m sure we`ll see his name in lights in the future - well done Divit!" - Mr Brackenborough, Head of Drama. Well done Divit! We are so proud of you! #Year8 #AcademicScholarship #DramaScholarship #BrightFutureAhead #HolmewoodHouseSchool #TunbridgeWells

TESTIMONIALS WHAT OUR STUDENTS & PARENTS HAVE TO SAY
Parent
Just wanted to express our thanks for this term. What a year! We’ve been utterly impressed by HH’s approach and care. We feel very grateful to be at this school and for the wonderful start in life it has given our children.
Prospective Parent
We both through that the school was superb – in fact as we were driving off of the property, we remarked that it was faultless across the board. We both feel that our children would thrive at Holmewood.
Pupil
“Thank you for your ongoing efforts in making Holmewood such a safe and nurturing place to grow, take risks, make mistakes and be curious, where the children are well known by their teachers and your team to help them navigate their course to growing confidence, leadership and empathy for helping others”.
Parent
“Our son ia a typical boy – great at maths, loves sports, hates writing!! But one of the teachers spotted that it was more than this … he was assessed and has dyslexia. Contrary to what many people may think, both we and the school see this positively – with the support of the Learning Support team, he now has a greater chance of reaching his true academic potential. Already, as a result of typing rather than doing handwritten work, he has discovered a new found love of creative writing and huge confidence in comprehension.”
Pupil
“I like playing in the garden and growing flowers and vegetables.”
Pupil
“The amount of opportunities we are offered is incredible and the teachers are all very helpful and friendly.”
Parent
“Communication at Holmewood is very good and they offer a number of opportunities each term for parents to attend both educational and pastoral forums.”
Pupil
“Holmewood house is a very good school which helps pupils feel at home and can adapt to suit you. I enjoy maths the most because my teacher makes you try to do things for yourself and he is very supportive.”
Parent
“I feel privileged to send my children to a school where teachers care so much and are able to work in such small class sizes.”
Age 18
I do believe that all my successes in life so far stem from my years at Holmewood. As well as providing a brilliant academic base, the nurturing from the teachers is like nothing else, and I cannot thank you enough for that.
Parent
“Holmewood offers a unique education in a safe and supportive environment for children of all ages.”
Parent
The chaperone service that Holmewood House offers has meant that our son has been able to access the best of both worlds, a country boarding school during the week where he can enjoy the space and facilities which are very hard to come by in London and then is able to come home every Friday to enjoy a full weekend with family. It is extremely convenient to be able to pick him up & drop off from central London & is workable on top of the other commitments I have! He looks forward to his trips on the train where he gets any unfinished homework done and then is able to relax at home
