Year 3 enjoyed some quiet reading time with their Year 8 buddies on Wednesday morning. It was lovely to see them getting to know each other and really settling down to read to each other. Cathy Spoor
Forest School
Year 3 have been enjoying Forest School. This week they found some incredible bugs, relaxed in the hammocks, enjoyed the rope bridge and even had a go at chopping wood!
⚓Year 8 Trip to Portsmouth Historic Dockyards🌹
On Friday our Year 8 pupils had a great day at Portsmouth Dockyards learning about Henry VIII’s favourite ship, the Mary Rose. The museum’s new 4D cinema experience showed how divers found the ship on the seabed and how it was salvaged in 1982.
They also enjoyed a boat trip around Portsmouth Harbour, and thanks to the lovely weather, had clear views of the south coast from the top of the Spinnaker Tower.
It was a fantastic day exploring history and enjoying the views.

This morning, Year 1 had a great time at Forest School! 🍃
They learned all about the fascinating creatures and wildlife they encountered 🪲, helped Mr. Lee decorate the forest furniture 🎨, and had a blast swinging through the trees on the rope swing!
It’s wonderful to see the children having so much fun learning in the great outdoors.🌿
