English – The Tunnel
In English, we wrapped up our topic on Anthony Browne’s stories by writing our own versions of The Tunnel. The children showed great imagination in creating their own unique twists to the story!
Science – What do we need to stay healthy?
In Science, we completed our work on growing by learning about what we need to stay healthy. We had fun investigating how different exercises affect our heart rates, discovering which activities made our hearts beat faster! Year 2 Team
Maths – Position and Direction
In Maths, we started exploring position and direction. We identified the position of objects using above, below, left, and right. We also practiced movement in different directions, including forwards, backwards, left, and right, and began learning about turning clockwise and anticlockwise.
