Year 4 have started their Enrichment programme, and we have seen some great thinking and team work in our two STEM activities. One group were challenged with designing a tin foil boat that would carry the most 2p coins, without sinking whilst the second group created a light show using torches and prisms whilst exploring reflection and refraction of light. Year 3 & 8 Buddy Time!
In Buddy Time the buddies shared some time reading together with a twist. With the theme of "Welcome to My World" the Year 8`s took their buddies to some of their classrooms they use, such as the science labs and their form rooms. After the initial excitement they got down to some productive reading together, with one person managing a whole book! Well done everyone!
