Congratulations to the newly appointed Year 5&6 librarians for this term; Will, Tavonga, Olivia, Rebecca, Temi, Samual, Emilia, Tate, Ollie and Fynn. To celebrate Languages Day pupils were invited to the Learning Hub for some fun activities. These included making a personalised bookmark where they could choose from a range of stylised alphabets; Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Italian, Greek, French, German, Thai and Arabic. Catherine Duncumb
There are lots of new magazines to enjoy reading in the Learning Hub Library. They will be available to all pupils on Relax & Read Wednesdays and during the JB’s Grab-a-Mag sessions. Hopefully something for everyone! Catherine Duncumb
Year 3 & 8 Buddy Time!
In Buddy Time the buddies shared some time reading together with a twist. With the theme of "Welcome to My World" the Year 8`s took their buddies to some of their classrooms they use, such as the science labs and their form rooms. After the initial excitement they got down to some productive reading together, with one person managing a whole book! Well done everyone!
