As part of our castle’s topic, 1BR had a fantastic time in the art studio with Mr Johnson and Mr Siddle today! They each had a terracotta clay castle door to carve into and decorate using a variety of techniques, tools and wooden stampers and it was great fun! Their concentration and involvement with this was fantastic! We can’t wait to go back and to see our clay doors once they have been fired and glaze them. Emma Bonwick
Year 1 have been enjoying some time in the outdoor classroom. We have introduced some new sets of tools for the children to use and they have been exploring how to use them. So much hammering going on!! They have been making ramps, using small world play, building castles and using the mud kitchen. Antoinette Faure

In Buddy Time the buddies shared some time reading together with a twist. With the theme of "Welcome to My World" the Year 8`s took their buddies to some of their classrooms they use, such as the science labs and their form rooms. After the initial excitement they got down to some productive reading together, with one person managing a whole book! Well done everyone!
