🌍✨ At Holmewood, we believe that trips are a key part of broadening our pupils' horizons, bringing learning to life beyond the classroom. The first half of term has been filled with a variety of educational visits. Here are just a few highlights:
🔵Year 8 (and some Year 7s) embarked on a powerful journey to the battlefields of Northern France, learning about the sacrifices made by so many. A truly poignant and unforgettable experience.
🏰 Year 1 ventured to Hever Castle, seeing first hand everything they’ve been learning about castles in their humanities lessons.
👑 Year 7 explored the Tower of London, with tours on the Norman Conquest and Elizabethan prisoners, and even visited the Crown Jewels and White Tower!
Along with the Year 7 geography trip to Birling Gap, Year 2 science trip to Herstmonceux Science Centre, Year 5 trip to Ashburnham Place, Year 8 trip to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and the Year 7 PGL trip it's been a busy first half of term!
