Welcome to Magnus, our latest Pets as Therapy (PAT) dog to join the team.
Magnus is a Golden Retriever and has just turned 9 years old. To pass his recent PAT test, he had to walk calmly on a lead, be friendly, kind and gentle taking treats, not be startled by loud noises and be good with other dogs.
His role in the learning hub will be to encourage reading for pleasure, especially if it’s a book about a dog. He will be in every Friday after half-term and from October also on Wednesday morning. He looks forward to being read to!
