New PAT dog

Welcome to Magnus our new PAT dog

Just before half term, 8PT went to West Farleigh to spend the day at Dandelion Time. Dandelion Time is an amazing charity that has been supported over the years by both The Friends of Holmewood and more recently the second-hand uniform shop. The children took part in a range of activities that would benefit the charity. We also had two roving reporters on the day, who managed to grab an interview with Graham the Chief Executive of Dandelion Time. Well done Ben and Noah. I quote from Caroline, the Corporate Relationship Manager at Dandelion Time. “They were all such lovely people who showed real commitment to every task and did everything [even poo collection] with such good grace – it was a pleasure to spend the day with them. Your students are a great credit to Holmewood House school, as well as, of course, their parents and families.” Click here to read the interview

Celebration of International Women’s Day 8th March 2023! The children have immersed themselves in a range of activities in celebration, from making badges to writing cards.
